RECENT COURSES IN WOMEN'S and GENDER STUDIES

 

In coursework, students in women's and gender studies investigate historical, political, and economic conditions crucial to understanding the construction of gender and the experiences of women in the U.S. and across cultural borders. The program encourages community involvement via course projects and internships. Students in Women’s and Gender Studies develop strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem solving skills that prepare them for a variety of careers or graduate study in such areas as social service, public policy, business, law, women’s studies, education and government.>
